I’m a scratch golfer in south Texas. I’m a sophomore in high school. After so many tournaments my curiosity started to grow, I mean, “to each his own” I understand everyone plays what they like. I like PING and all my clubs are, well, PING. My question is what brand is best, or believed to be the best for Drivers, Woods, Irons, Wedges, and Putters? I asked this before but by the answers i recieved I obviously didn’t explain myself enough. Please don’t give me any of that, “well a scratch golfer should know, or everyone has their opinion” b.s. I just want to find out if it’s true. My set is as followed:
PING:
G10 9* Driver
G10 3 Wood
S57 Irons
50*,54*,58*Tour W Wedges
i-Series Anser
I believe the following are the best considering what I usually hear and see on the websites.
Drivers: Taylormade
Woods: Taylormade
Irons: Callaway
Wedges: Cleveland
Putters: Odyssey
What I want to know is if I’m right and if the “best” list is true consider they all claim to be “#1 whatever in Golf”????, more
